How To Play
To start a game you first need to place your Ante bet, simply click on the chip values at the lower left of the screen to place them on the table. When you are happy with your bet click on ‘Deal’ and four cards are dealt face up.
On the left of the screen you will be shown a points total for the hand. Numbered cards are worth their face value, face cards (Jack, Queen and King) are worth 10, and Aces are worth 11.
You then need to choose between High Tequila, Tequila Poker, or Fold. If you choose to ‘Fold’ then the round ends and you lose your bet. If you choose either of the other two options then a second bet equal to your Ante is placed. Two more cards will then be dealt.
In High Tequila the lowest card is disregarded and the rest of the cards must make up a point total of at least 46 for you to win.
In Tequila Poker your cards are used to make the best five-card poker hand possible. The remaining card is disregarded. You will need at least a pair of Aces to qualify and you will then be paid out according to the paytable.
Whether you choose to play High Tequila or Tequila poker, if you win then your Ante bet is paid at 1:1.
In High Tequila you will win 1:1 for a point total of 46 – 48, 49 pays 2:1, 50 pays 3:1, 51 pays 4:1, 52 pays 7:1, 53 pays 15:1, and 54 pays 200:1.
If you have chosen Tequila Poker then a Pair of Aces pays 1:1, Two Pair pays 2:1, Three of a Kind pays 3:1, a Straight pays 5:1, a Flush pays 7:1, a Full House pays 8:1, Four of a Kind pays 15:1, a Straight Flush pays 50:1, and a Royal Flush pays 200:1.
